ODE TO THE ORIGINALS
Our permanent collection, "Ode to the Originals" is inspired by rock art from a Sacred and United Nations World Heritage Site called Tsodilo Hills , in Botswana.
This rock art was created by the indigenous people of Botswana, the San.
The collection is drenched in a rich story of ancestral & cultural heritage , thus it is also a celebration of both.
Each motif was hand-drawn , then digitized and engraved onto brass. Polished to a high shine, the pieces feature 2mm cubic zirconia set amongst and inside the rock art motifs, giving a demure yet present shimmer.
The use of rose quartz is a symbol of our love & reverence for the cultural & ancestral heritage of Botswana as well as a love for our craft .
